SINISSTAR Enter Period Of 'Transformation'

October 24, 2002

Los Angeles-based SINISSTAR have parted ways with guitarist China, drummer Sid and guitarist/back-up singer Breck and are in the process of finalizing a new lineup, to be unveiled shortly.

"SINISSTAR is undergoing a period of TRANSFORMATION and EVOLUTION," reads a message on the band's official web site. "Among other things, this means the band's personnel is changing. China, Sid, and Breck have all left the band to pursue other projects. [Vocalist] Edgemont and [bassist] Shadow will be continuing SINISSTAR with new people. The new lineup is almost complete as of this writing and a proper introduction will be issued once all parties have taken the 'blood oath' and have been 'officially' inducted into SINISSTAR. As a unit, SINISSTAR will continue to break new ground and shatter the limitations of what is considered 'music'. Look for us on tour by this summer and a new record sometime in 2003. THANK YOU TO ALL THE FANS WHO HAVE HELPED US BUILD THE HOUSE OF SINISSTAR. WE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN."

As previously reported, China is now believed to have officially joined SUPERFIX, the new band formed by former DRAIN STH members Martina Axen and Anna Kjellberg.
